Emily

Emily du Prairie is a gentle, kind, loving soul. She willing shows her loyalty to her family and farm, by how well she enjoys being with us. She loves the companionship of children, be it playing in a grassy yard, or sled riding with them, down a hillside. Emily is never in trouble, for she is a quick learner, who desires to please her family. We used praise and treats when training Emily. She gets long well with all our dogs, cats and livestock. She is adaptable to new situations we put her in, and we are very pleased with her continual progress. It is a pleasure helping her learn what she needs to become a wonderful farmer’s helper, and we look forward to see just how far she will go with her abilities. Emily sends a warning voice only if there is something that needs our attention. She is a contented girl, keeping watch over her property. She is neither bossy, nor overly busy, and it is a joy to have Emily as a member of our family. She is the traditional sized English Shepherd and comes from a long line of working English Shepherds, and demonstrates that heritage very well.
