Shannon

If there is something going on du Prairie,
Shannon is right in the thick of it. She loves to run off the herds of deer,
which wreck havoc to crops and trees. When raccoons and other predators wander
onto du Prairie be it the garage, near the chicken
coop, or in the meadow, Shannon is not afraid in the least to head them off,
and call out for us to help her. She's intrigued when problems
needs solving. It's fun for her to think of a
solution and then to act on it. Shannon is often asked to work out of doors in
all sorts of weather conditions, which she totally loves! She has an even-tempered
disposition, allowing little children to play with her without a fuss or
complaint. Being close to our family is very important to her. So, where we go,
she likes to go too. She learned her obedience training very quickly, and has
retained the commands since puppyhood. She has shown an interest in herding
livestock and has begun lessons in herding our ducks. She knows we love and
appreciate her very much.
